Successful Day at Northern Region Improvers
Northern Region Improvers Report 28.02.2026
A successful time was had by the 7 athletes from our club who attended Northern Region Improvers on Saturday 28th March at Bridgestone Athletics arena where they achieved 11 Personal Bests and 1 Centre Record was broken .
The 4 athletes in Under 6 to Under 8 who attended received participation medals. They were Oliver Boehm , Mason Lowke , Harlie East – Feltus and Zahria East – Feltus
The 3 Athletes in the Under 9 to Under 17 age group performed brilliantly winning medals in all the events that they competed in .
Bailey Grimwade Under 9 Boys - Silver Medal in 70 Metres , Bronze Medal in 60 Metre Hurdles, Bronze Medal in 100 Metres and Bronze Medal in Long Jump
Mikayla Schilling Under 12 Girls – Gold medal in 200 Metres , Gold Medal in 100 Metres , Silver Medal in Discus and Bronze Medal in Triple Jump
Jennifer Schilling Under 14 Girls – Gold Medal in Long Jump , Silver Medal in Discus , Silver Medal in Shot Put and Bronze Medal in Javelin

Barossa Valley Little Athletics Centre Athletes Have Success At State Championships
7 athletes from Barossa Valley Little athletics centre ventured to Adelaide this weekend 21st and 22nd March to compete in the 2026 Little Athletics State Championships and had a great weekend .
Tyson White Under 15 Boys won Gold Medal in 1500 Metres , Gold Medal in 400 Metres and Gold Medal in 800 Metres . Tyson's time of 4 mins 16.21 secs is a new State Best Performance and also a BVLAC centre record.
Lincoln Parbs Under 13 Boys won Silver Medal in Shot Put , Silver Medal in Javelin and Bronze Medal in Discus
Jennifer Schilling Under 14 Girls won a Bronze medal for Triple Jump
Mitchell Parbs Under 11 Boys won Silver Medal in Shot Put

Barossa Valley Little Athletics Centre athletes successful at 2026 State Challenge
On Sunday 29th March 4 athletes from Barossa Valley Little Athletics Centre attended the 2026 SALAA State Challenge having a successful day competing in 9 events .
Sonny West in Under 8 Boys won a Bronze medal in 700 Metres in a time of 2min 37.91 secs which also broke the centre record.
Bailey Grimwade in Under 9 Boys won a Silver medal in Long Jump with a jump of 3.16 M
Mikayla Schilling in Under 12 Girls won a Gold Medal in Discus with a throw of 13.99 M
